From 14 to 16 December, a delegation of Latvian entrepreneurs led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to Russia Astra Kurme visited the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ufa to discuss prospects for economic cooperation between Latvia and Bashkortostan.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Rustem Mardanov, other top officials, as well as a roundtable discussion on the possibilities for economic cooperation between Latvia and Bashkortostan and individual meetings of entrepreneurs with potential partners.
